The Harvey Summer Camp for children entering grades 1 through 9 will be up and running this summer, camp officials have announced.
Harvey Summer Camp director Vinny Alexander says, “We will celebrate our 25th year with a shortened session and some modifications to our program to meet the COVID-19 health and safety guidelines put into place by New York State officials and the Westchester County Health Department.” He added, “We’re planning on the kids having a lot of fun with friends and campmates engaged in a wide variety of activities in our magnificent facilities.”
The camp, located on the 125-acre Harvey School campus in Katonah, will keep its daily hours of weekday operation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will select a schedule from several options which offer a range of activities in fine art, arts and crafts, dance, theater, music, sports, swimming, ice skating, and robotics.
The Harvey camp will open Monday, July 13, and will run for four weeks, ending Friday, Aug. 7. Space is limited this summer. Interested families should visit www.harveycavaliercamp.org to learn more.
