SOMERS, N.Y. - Due to ongoing concerns regarding spread and transmission of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Westchester County The Somers Justice Court is closed to the Public and the COURT SESSIONS previously scheduled have been adjourned as follows:

All matters previously scheduled for March 23, have been calendared for May 4.

All matters previously scheduled for March 30, have been calendared for May 11.

All Vehicle and Traffic matters previously scheduled for April 1, have been calendared for June 3.

Continue to mail your pleas of guilty or not-guilty on Vehicle and Traffic Tickets to the Somers Justice Court via U. S. Postal mail.

If you have received an Appearance/Pre-Trial Conference or Trial notice re: a TRAFFIC MATTER from the Somers Justice Court directing you to appear at the Courthouse on any of the above-referenced dates, you will be notified of your future adjournment date via US Postal Mail.

If you have a matter on the TOWN ORDINANCE/BUILDING CODE calendar, you will be similarly notified by mail as to your next appearance date.

Finally, if you are a party to a civil matter, including Small Claims, Summary/Special Proceeding (Landlord-Tenant/Non-Payment/Holdover/Eviction) or Justice Court proceeding, you will be notified by mail as to your next appearance date

The court will be in session to address any arraignments, Orders of Protection and any other emergent matters that may arise.
