The Harvey Summer Camp in Katonah has opened registration for its 2021 session. Following a successful session in 2020, Harvey’s camp directors are planning for another safe and fun-filled summer.
“We’re very much looking forward to our 26th consecutive season which will be filled with opportunities in the visual arts, athletics, performance, and dance,” said Harvey Summer Camp Director Vinny Alexander. “We’re excited that our campers will once again be able to play, explore, create, and just have a lot of summer fun,” Alexander said.
Campers may register for a full or partial six-week session which features opportunities to choose a schedule with a concentration in sports, art, dance, theatrical performance, or general studies. Harvey’s 125-acre campus features state-of-the art facilities, playing fields, an outdoor swimming pool, and an ice rink. The camp also offers weeklong sessions in basketball, robotics, and circus arts. Harvey will also introduce a new in-person academic enrichment program called RISE designed to bridge the gap created by remote learning and to provide middle school and high school students with foundational support in English, foreign language, and math.
The six-week session starts Monday, June 28 and ends Friday, August 6. To learn more or to register, prospective families should visit www.harveycavaliercamp.org or call 914-232-0581.
As it is for all day camps in Westchester, Harvey will operate this summer under the county’s public health and safety guidelines which may affect programming.
