Somers, N.Y.--The Somers Volunteer Fire Department demonstrated the well-oiled machine its vehicles and responders are when answering the community’s calls for help. At an open house at its Lincolndale Fire House on Saturday, Oct. 14, children and parents were treated to demonstrations and provided with insight on how the department operates as well as tips to keep them safe.
