Somers Land Trust Gifted 115 Acres of Stone House Farm Land

Somers Disposes of 39 Tons of E-Waste, Scrap Metal

SOMERS, N.Y. – Another successful E-Waste Recycling Day was held on Earth Day (Saturday, April 22), at Somers Intermediate School. The annual event, organized by the Somers PTA Council, encourages residents to drop off their recyclable, which, for a donation, are disposed of properly.

• The PTA Council raised $3,065 through donations when residents dropped off their recyclables.

Neighbors Clean up Lake Shenorock

SOMERS, N.Y. – A group of residents who live near Lake Shenorock have banded together to form the Shenorock Neighbors, an informal organization with a mission to aid in the restoration of the once lively Lake Shenorock.
