A Taste of Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY NJ - The Woman's Club of Tewksbury Township will host "A Taste of Tewksbury" on Saturday, March 25 at 6 PM at Merck and Company, 600 Corporate Drive, Lebanon, NJ 08858.  The event, sponsored by Tewksbury Fine Wines and Spirits, will host 13 restaurants offering gourmet food selections and premium wine, bourbon and whiskey tastings.  A portion of the profits will benefit "Points for Pain", a fundraiser founded by Tyler Cashman, a Tewksbury resident and student at the Middle School in Tewksbury.  It benefits the US Pain Foundation's Pediatric Pain Program.

The participating restaurants include Bex's Eatery and Catering Co. of Califon, Boulevard Seafood Company of Somerville, The Bernards Inn of Bernardsville, Brunello's Tratroria Restaurant and Bar of Flemington, The Clinton House of Clinton, Conlin's Cafe and Bakery of Somerville, The Farm Cooking School of Titusville, Gourmet Expressions Cafe and Catering of Lebanon, Melick's Town Farm of Oldwick, Metropolitan Seafood and Gourmet of Lebanon, Oldwick General Store of Oldwick, The Ryland Inn of Clinton, and the Seventh Taste of Basking Ridge.

A keepsake wine glass will be given to each attendee for sampling the wines, bourbon and whiskey selections provided by Tewksbury Fine Wines and Spirits.

Christopher Albrecht of the Ryland Inn and Scott Cutano of the Oldwick General Store will serve as celebrety chefs for the evening.

Music will be provided by Roulette, the Band.

Additional monies raised by the function will be added to the club's charitable budget for distribution to local community organizations.

Tickets, at $75 each, are limited and can be purchased at the Oldwick office of the Peapack Gladstone Bank, at Tewksbury Fine Wines and Spirits or by calling 908-509-1855.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  Tax deduction contributions can be made at
