The Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills is pleased to announce their 42nd annual Fish-N-Chips Dinner. The dinner is their largest fundraiser and the proceeds are used to benefit the Veterans at the Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System. This fundraiser also raises funds for college scholarships, the Arc of Somerset County, Key Clubs, and other community projects.
Argyles Restaurant from Kearny will be cooking all the meals. They serve a high quality Scottish style fish and chips that has gotten rave reviews in New Jersey Monthly magazine and from the community.
The public is invited to join the Club for a wonderful Fish-N-Chips Dinner at Ridge High School Cafeteria on Wednesday, March 11 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.. Prices are $20 per adult, $17 per senior citizen, and $15 for children under 12. Take out dinners are available after 6 p.m. Chicken dinners are available, too, but they need to be pre-ordered (call 908-500-2730). Walk-ins are welcome!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. The Somerset Hills group currently has 13 members and always welcomes new adults interested in joining us! We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month at 6:30 - 8:00 PM at Gabriel's Fountain Restaurant, 1948 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ 08836.
