BERNARDSVILLE, NJ - The Bernards baseball team scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to put the finishing touches on a 16-1 victory over Union Catholic on Friday.

Robbie Holmes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two scored runs, and four RBI. Tommy Hosbach hit his first career home run to get the scoring started--a two-run shot in the second inning, when Bernards scored six runs.

Phil Mahlik had two hits, including a double, scored three runs and drove in two runs.  Kyle Levine had two hits, a run, and an RBI. Matt Oliver had two hits, scored two runs, and had an RBI.

David Iaione got the win, pitching three innings of no-hit ball, walking one and striking out three.
