Baseball: Bernards Gets Past Warren Hills, 7-6

WASHINGTON, NJ - The Bernards baseball team broke a tie with a run in the top of the sixth inning and held on for a 7-6 victory over Warren Hills on Tuesday.

Robbie Holmes had two hits, including a two-run homer, for Bernards (9-4), which took a 7-6 lead in the sixth on Nick Booher's RBI single.

Timmy Lallis struck a pair of doubles and scored two runs for the Mountaineers. Matt Oliver had a single and two RBI, and Phil Mahlik singled in a run for Bernards.
