BEDMINSTER, NJ — There will be a blood drive in Bedminster to commemorate the late Sgt. AlTerek Patterson, the member of the township police department who died in April as a result of COVID-19.
The blood drive will take place Friday, July 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clarence Dillon Public Library, 2336 Lamington Road in Bedminster.

Patterson, who died at the age of 38, graduated from the Somerset County Police Academy Recruit Class 35-05 in December 2005 and began his career as a patrolman on January 1, 2006. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in Bedminster in October 2014.
