BEDMINSTER, NJ -- The township has moved one step closer to the opening of a new child day care facility.

Bedminster Mayor Lawrence Jacobs announced at the Oct. 7 Township Committee meeting that the Land Use Board has approved the application for a Primrose School franchise at 2073 Burnt Mills Road next to the site of the former Burger King.

"There is a matter of that application that will come back (to the Township Committee), a recommendation from the Land Use Board that will be incorporated into the resolution that they will work out a developer's agreement with the Township Committee regarding certain traffic improvements."
