BEDMINSTER, NJ — New Jersey American Water will replace approximately 2,220 feet of aging water main in Bedminster beginning at the end of this month.

Aging 4-inch water lines, installed in the 1930s, will be replaced with new, 8-inch ductile iron main along the entire length of Riverwood Avenue and Wildwood Avenue. The project also includes replacing three fire hydrants and 26 utility-owned service lines along the pipeline route.

The project is expected to cost $670,000, and is aimed at increasing water flows for household consumption and fire protection in Bedminster.
