Bedminster's Ivanka Panasik Crowned Miss New Jersey Princess

BEDMINSTER NJ - She loves soccer and gymnastics, and now Miss Ivanka Panasik has earned the prestigious title of 2017 National Miss Jersey at the state pageant held August 12.

A resident of Bedminster, Ivanka is the daughter of Svitlana and Marek.  In addition to soccer and gymnatics, Ivanka's activities include  Polish and Ukrainian supplementary schools.

She will be attending the National Pageant to be held in Anaheim, California, at Disneyland during Thanksgiving week, representing the great state of New Jersey, where she will have the opportunity to win her share of over $500,000 in cash and prizes.

The National Miss Pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s greatness and encouraging its future leaders.  Each year, the National American Miss Pageants awards 1.5 Million dollars in cash, scholarships, and prizes to recognize and assist the development of young women nationwide.  National American Miss has added a "door prize" to Nationals 2017:  Each girl that qualifies for the national pageant has a chance to win a new 2017 Ford Mustang Convertible. 

National American Miss is dedicated to developing the success of young women across our nation with a program that is designed to be age-appropriate and family-oriented.  Pageants are held in each state for girls ages four to eighteen in five different age divisions.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Insurance fraud charges against Franklin Township Clerk Ann Marie McCarthy have been dropped, according to officials. 

"Ann Marie McCarthy has been reinstated," Township Manager Bob Vornlocker said in an email. "All charges filed by the Somerset County Prosecutor have been unconditionally administratively dismissed."
