BELVIDERE, NJ - The Bernards boys basketball team built a seven-point halftime lead and then held on for a 46-43 victory over Belvidere Tuesday night.

Cubby Schuler scored 15 points to lead Bernards (12-3), which outscored Belvidere, 12-5, in the second quarter to open a 20-13 halftime lead.

Daniel Ball finished with 11 points for the Mountaineers, who got 10 points, including three 3-pointers, from Kyle Levine. Bernards is back in action Thursday night at home against South Hunterdon at 7 p.m.
