Boys Basketball: Gill-St. Bernards's Routs Ridge in Somerset Quarterfinals

GLADSTONE, NJ - The Ridge boys basketball team couldn't recover from a big second-quarter onslaught by top-seeded Gill-St. Bernard's, which won, 68-46, in the quarterfinal round of the Somerset County Tournament Thursday night.

Gill-St. Bernard's (20-3) took a 37-16 halftime lead with a 26-9 splurge in the second quarter. Paul Mulcahy finshed with 13 points, 13 rebounds and eight rebounds in the victory.

Curtis Lyons led 10th-seeded Ridge (10-13) with 11 points. Jeremy McCavera and Aidan Murphy each finished with nine points for the Red Devils.
