BEDMINSTER NJ - This is the Bedminster Police Blotter for the week of July 3-9, 2017.
At approximately 1349hrs, Bedminster Police responded to Trump National Golf Course (900 Lamington Road) for a report of a trespasser. Subsequent to the investigation, Claire Elise Morgan, age 29 of Los Angeles, CA was arrested for 2C:18-3B(1) (defiant trespasser).
At approximately 0128hrs, while traveling on Route 206 southbound in the area of Pfizer Way, Bedminster Police observed a black Dodge Ram speed through a red light at Route 206 and Holland Road and accelerate at a high rate of speed into Bedminster. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Route 206 southbound at the Bedminster Shell Gas Station. Subsequent to the investigation, Steven Mastrian, age 36 of Whitehouse Station was arrested for two traffic warrants, one out of Bridgewater for $750.00 and one out of New Brunswick for $500.00. Mastrian was also issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-40 (driving while suspended), 39:5-35 (failure to surrender suspended drivers license) and 39:3-29 (failure to produce vehicle registration and insurance). Mastrian posted bail for the New Brunswick warrant and was released on his own recognizance on the Bridgewater warrant.
At 2043hrs, while parked at the intersection of Route 202/206 and River Road, Bedminster Police observed a Mercury Sable driving southbound on Route 202/206 with a flat rear passenger’s side tire. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206. Subsequent to the investigation, Alquawee Green, age 32 of Irvington was arrested for a warrant out of Hillside Twp. for $1,000.00. Green was unable to post bail and was released on his own recognizance pending a new court date.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
At 0837hrs, Bedminster Police responded to a suspicious motor vehicle on Black River Road. Subsequent to the investigation the motor vehicle, a white Toyota Highlander, was found to be stolen out of Elizabeth, NJ. The vehicle’s passenger and driver’s side window were down and the front windshield was cracked. The rear driver’s side tire was flat and the navigation system in the dashboard area was missing. Elizabeth Police Department and the owner of the vehicle were notified.
At approximately 1339hrs, Bedminster Police responded to the shared driveway between 442 and 454 Route 202 for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival the black BMW was fully engulfed. The Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
At 1818hrs, Bedminster Police responded to BED ONE 135 Route 202/206 for a report of a stolen red Acura RDX. The owner advised that he parked his vehicle there in the morning and at approximately 1130hrs went out to the vehicle to retrieve an item and the vehicle was still there. The owner found the vehicle to be missing at approximately 1818hrs. The vehicle was entered stolen in NCIC.
