Corigliano: Vote for Dedicated Smith and Dynamic Saunders in Primary

Dear Editor,

I am writing to voice my support and endorsement for two individuals running for the position of Councilperson in the Borough of Peapack & Gladstone. These individuals, Royal “Roy” Smith and Lisa Saunders will be running as Somerset County Republicans in the Primary Election on June 6.

As a second-term Councilman in Peapack & Gladstone, I have had the pleasure of working with both Roy and Lisa over the last number of years. I’ve served with Roy on the Borough Council and with Lisa on the Borough’s Land Use Board. Both individuals have exhibited the skills and experience that I find important towards being a leader in our community. Roy has been a reliable, dedicated member of the Borough Council for nearly three years now and had headed up a number of important initiatives from roads to property to healthcare management and costs. His attention to the details and concern for fiscal prudence is well acknowledged. Lisa has served on the Borough’s Land Use Board for a few years now and I have found her dedication and understanding of the more difficult land use concepts to be exemplary. I believe these skills, along with her extensive Board experience, will make Lisa a dynamic member of the Council going forward.
