SOMERSET HILLS NJ - Assemblyman John DiMaio, whose legislative district includes Peapack-Gladstone and Bedminster, will address a gathering of the Somerset County business community this Friday.
The newly announced collaboration between the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP), the Somerset County Employers Legislative Committee (ELC), and the Somerset County Governing Official Association (SCGOA) will meet Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at Verve Bistro, Bar, & Lounge, 18 East Main Street in Somerville.
Assemblyman DiMaio serves on the Appropriations Committee, the Budget Committee, and the Joint Legislative Task Force on Drinking Water Infrastructure.
“Kicking off the collaboration with two of central Jersey’s most respected and influential legislators sends the signal that Somerset County business means business, “commented Takeena Deas, Director of Community Affairs for the Business Partnership. “Having received commitments for upcoming meetings from 3 announced gubernatorial candidates it is obvious that the voice of Somerset County business will be heard.”
The statewide ELCs were established by NJ Business and Industry Association in 1959. SCGOA serves as a forum for exchange of ideas among elected, newly elected, and appointed municipal officials. The SCBP serves as Somerset County’s regional Chamber of Commerce and the essential partner for doing business in Somerset County.
