BASKING RIDGE, NJ - On Friday, July 31, 2020 Fellowship Senior Living was presented with a check for $110,107.00 from the Fellowship Foundation, the total raised from the recent Healthcare Heroes Program campaign.  The Healthcare Heroes Program was launched in March of this year in response to the COVID-19 health crisis which presented Fellowship Senior Living with incredible challenges in keeping their entire community, both on and off campus, well informed, healthy and engaged. 

The pandemic and subsequent guidelines and regulations have placed an unexpected strain on the budget as Fellowship strived to ensure staff and essential equipment is on hand to continue providing the highest quality services.  All gifts in response to this campaign honor caregivers and recognize the efforts of team members on the front lines of this crisis; those who have to juggle child care as schools are closed, many working overtime to ensure that the engagement needs of residents are met, and still others that are spending countless hours ensuring that those Fellowship cares for and serves continue to receive the highest quality healthcare services.  

This total gift to Fellowship Senior Living represents both the generous gifts from residents and family members, as well as Gala sponsors, attendees, and advertisers who agreed to convert their sponsorship commitment into a tax-deductible donation to benefit the Healthcare Heroes Program.

Fellowship Senior Living was established in 1996 as a nonprofit, faith-based Life Plan Community dedicated to their mission to serve seniors of all backgrounds and provide them with the highest quality of services that foster personal independence, long-term health, fellowship, and spiritual growth.  To support its philanthropic initiatives, Fellowship Senior Living created the Fellowship Foundation on July 16, 2019.  Fellowship Senior Living is the sole member of the Foundation.  The formation of the Foundation will provide greater opportunities to raise funds to support Fellowship Senior Living to enhance programs and services and upgrade and expand their physical capabilities and campuses.
