BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Bernards field hockey team evened its record on the season with a 5-0 victory over North Plainfield Tuesday.

Rory Hanratty scored two goals for the Mountaineers (5-5), who had a 3-0 lead at halftime with two goals in the first quarter and another in the second.

Tori Baker, Nathalie Abello and Grace Connell each scored one goal, and Samantha Rudolf and Christina Manzi both had assists. Bernards took 16 shots on goal and kept North Plainfield from attempting any.
