BEDMINSTER NJ - An errant aircraft over Bedminster drew a military response, according to law enforcement reports.

A single engine Cessna entered restricted airspace over the Trump National Golf Course, triggering a response from a fighter jet and a Coast Guard helicopter on Saturday.  The pilot of the aircraft allegedly failed to acknowledge commands to indentify themselves and to divert away from the restricted airspace.

Trump National is hosting the 2017 LPGA Womens Open.  President Trump was present at the time of the incident.  It is unknown whether President Trump or anyone on the premises was evacuated.  At this time, the status of the errant aircraft has not been reported by authorities.
