Final Shows of This Season's 'Plays in Park' in Basking Ridge; Shakespeare Through Saturday Night

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Weather permitting, "Twelfth Night," the second production in this year's "Plays in the Park" series, as staged and performed by Basking Ridge-based Trilogy Repertory Co. will continue through this Friday and Saturday night.

The plays, as presented by the Bernards Township Parks and Recreation Department, are held each summer at the outdoors amphitheater at Pleasant Valley Park off Valley Road in Basking Ridge. 

Plays are free, although donation are accepted.

Scheduled performance dates for the Shakespearean comedy,  produced by Hank Barre and directed by Paul Bettys, began last week and will continue through Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, Aug. 3, 4 and 5.

Performances begin at 8 p.m. unless rain cancels.

Theater lovers are invited to bring chairs, blankets and snacks.

This season's first production was "Jesus Christ Superstar."
