BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Freedom House, based in Clinton, is holding its fifth annual 5K run and 1-mile Fun Walk at Duke Island Park, in Bridgewater, May 19.
Proceeds from the event will go to help ensure those seeking recovery from addiction are not turned away due to a lack of financial resources. Services like those offered at Freedom House are a key component to helping to combat the heroin epidemic.

Freedom House provides four model programs for those suffering from substance use and other disorders, namely long-term residential treatment in a halfway house for adult men, transitional/sober living programs for men, a transitional program for women recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction and outpatient locations for men and women.
