Girls Basketball: Bernards Blitzes Manville, 58-20

MANVILLE, NJ - The Bernards girls basketball team broke to an 18-point lead in the first quarter and went on to a 58-20 victory over Manville Tuesday night.

Jenna Whelan led Bernards (5-2) with 24 points and Jenna Scarpa finished with 12 points for the Mountaineers.

Bernards led, 24-6, after one quarter and outscored the Mustangs in every quarter. Bridget Cawley contributed eight points to the Mountaineer effort.
