Girls Lacrosse: Bernards Shoots Past Watchung Hills, 18-7


BERNARDSVILLE, NJ - Paige Petty scored eight goals to lead Bernards to an 18-7 girls lacrosse victory over Watchung Hills on Tuesday in the quarterfinal round of the Somerset County Tournament.

Bernards (12-2) took a 9-3 lead by halftime. Laurel McHale finished with three goals and three assists for the Mountaineers.

Ann Gillis scored two goals for Bernards, which got a goal apiece from Hanna Christian (two assists), Elise Cohan, Lilly Thomas, Annie Simon (four assists) and Madison Paulik.
