Girls Soccer: Bernards Shuts Out Voorhees, 6-0


GLEN GARDNER, NJ - In its last tuneup before a big Somerset County Tournament game this weekend, the Bernards girls soccer team triumphed in convincing fashion, 6-0, over Voorhees on Saturday.

Makenna Davis scored three goals and had one assist for the Mountaineers (12-3), who built a 4-0 lead by halftime. Avery Schuller, Elizabeth Coury and Regan Chatwin each scored one goal for Bernards, who got two assists from Eleanor Taylor.

Bernards will next take on Watchung Hills in the quarterfinal round of the Somerset County Tournament Saturday at 11 a.m. in Warren.
