Girls Tennis: Bernards Beats Rutgers Prep, 4-1

SOMERSET, NJ - The Bernards girls tennis team pushed its record past .500 with a 4-1 victory over Rutgers Prep on Tuesday.

Sydney Nguyen, Uma Patla and Kristen Sardis were singles winners, and the doubles team of Katie Lazaar and Daniella Wisniewski also won for the Mountaineers (5-4).

First Singles: Sydney Nguyen, Bernards, def. Jaitsiri Ahluwalia 6-1, 6-2

Third Singles: Kristen Sardis, Bernards, def. Jahnavi Patel 6-3, 6-4

First Doubles: Katie Lazaar and Daniella Wisniewski, Bernards, def. Shrishti Ramkumar and Tiffany Lou 6-1, 6-3

Second Doubles: Neha Panduri and Angela Liu, Rutgers Prep, def. and 6-2, 2-6, 10-8

The hearing is open to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
