BERNARDS TWP., NJ - The Heartworks annual two-day "yard sale" to raise funds for continuing acts of kindness for local families will continue on Saturday, April 23, between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hearworks headquarters at 19 Route 202 in Basking Ridge, near the Bernardsville border.

One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to "families living with a crisis" or "living through grief & illness." That outreach helps fulfill the organization's continuing efforts to carry forward the kindness and communitywide compassion displayed in the dark days following Sept. 11, 2001, when more than 20 Somerset Hills residents had lost their lives in the World Trade Center attack.

More than 75 families donated items for the yard sale, according to the Heartworks website.
