BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Somerset County Department of Health on Thursday reported a total of 4,337 cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, an increase of 10 new cases in the county overnight.

Bernardsville had a total of 67 confirmed cases and Bedminster 41 cases, with no new cases reported in either community on Thursday.

The New Jersey Department of Health Thursday reported a total of 172,356 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 122 days ago, and a total of 13,251 deaths during that time, an increase of 27 overnight. There have been 1,463,913 COVID-19 tests administered statewide.

Hospitalizations due to the coronavirus in New Jersey fell by a total of 53 to 1,027 Wedenesday evening. That figure represents a drop of more than 85 percent from the virus' peak in April.
