BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Somerset County Department of Health on Tuesday reported a total of 4,298 cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in the county, an increase of 11 new cases overnight.

There have been 67 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bernardsville and 42 in Bedminster since the start of the pandemic.

The New Jersey Department of Health Tuesday reported a total of 171,667 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state. There were 992 coronavirus-related hospitalizations in New Jersey as of Monday night. The day before, the number of virus-related hospitalizations in the state fell below the 1,000 milestone for the first time in more than three months.
