Local Farm "Resists"

BEDMINSTER NJ - Now that the airspace around Trump National Golf Club is open again, aviators and passengers will be able to see a political statement cut into a corn field in the Lamington area of the township.

According to records maintained by Bedminster Township, approximately one and one half acres of corn in a field on Larger Cross Road were cut to form the word "RESIST", together with the traditional Venus symbol.  The message is visible from above.  An aerial photo of the message in the corn was posted on social media.

Franklin Township: Township Clerk Reinstated and Charges Dismissed

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Insurance fraud charges against Franklin Township Clerk Ann Marie McCarthy have been dropped, according to officials. 

"Ann Marie McCarthy has been reinstated," Township Manager Bob Vornlocker said in an email. "All charges filed by the Somerset County Prosecutor have been unconditionally administratively dismissed."
