Local Governments Announce 2017 Re-Organization Meetings


SOMERSET HILLS NJ - At the beginning of each year, coumty and municipal governments across New Jersey hold a "re-organization" meeting as required by New Jersey law.  To paraphrase former Governor Donald DiFrancesco, the re-organization meeting is a marvel because it represents the peaceful transition of governmental power, something which we sometimes take for granted in America.

At a re-organization meeting, newly elected or re-elected officials take the oath of office, and the governing body addreses basic organizational matters such as contractts with professionals and committee assignments for the elected officials.

Bedminster Township Committee - January 6, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Trump National Golf Club on Lamington Road in Bedminster.
