National Weather Service: Flood Advisory for the Somerset Hills

SOMERSET HILLS NJ - The National Weather Service hsa issued a flood advisory for an area that includes the Somerset Hills through 6:45 PM tonight.   The affected area includes Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone and Bernardsville.

At 2:42 PM, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.   The heavy rain could lead to minor flooding in the area.   Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

A flood advisory means that river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding of water is occurring or imminent.
