Peapack-Gladstone: Caminiti and Corigliano Will Face Opposition from Political Newcomers

PEAPACK AND GLADSTONE NJ - Councilmen G.P. Caminiti and Mark Corigliano will face two political newcomers in the general election.  According to the Somerset County Clerk's office, two independent candidates have filed nominating petitions to run for the borough council.

Valerie Zoller-Melici of Pottersville Road and Andrew Sternick of Brook Hollow Road are both first time candidates in the borough.  Zoller-Melici has been a member of the borough's First Aid and Rescue Squad since January 2015.  Sternick, who has lived in the borough since 2011, is a member of the Recreation Commission.

The general election will be held on November 8, 2016.

EDISON, NJ - Lifelong Franklin resident, Assemblyman Joe Danielsen (D-17 Middlesex/Somerset), chairman of the Assembly Oversight, Reform, and Federal Relations Committee will host the first installment of his "Cannabis Listening Tour" at Middlesex Community College this Saturday. 

The hearing is open to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
