Russian Military Jet Flies Over Somerset Hills


BEDMINSTER, NJ - On Wednesday evening, an unarmed Russian military jet flew over several U. S. locations, including Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, where President Donald Trump is currently in residence. According to a report from CNN, the jet also flew over the U. S. Capitol Building, the Pentagon, The CIA  and Joint Base Andrews.

According to the Open Skies Treaty of 2002, 32 countries are aloud to fly, unarmed over the participating countries territories. The United States and Russia both signed the treaty. Over 1200 flights have take place since the treaty was put in place. Shortly after, Time magazine journalist and White House correspondent Zeke Miller shared a map of the jet's flight path on twitter. Reports also confirm that United States Air Force personnel were on the flight. The fly over Bedminster took place between 5 and 6 pm Wednesday evening.

Franklin Township: Township Clerk Reinstated and Charges Dismissed

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Insurance fraud charges against Franklin Township Clerk Ann Marie McCarthy have been dropped, according to officials. 

"Ann Marie McCarthy has been reinstated," Township Manager Bob Vornlocker said in an email. "All charges filed by the Somerset County Prosecutor have been unconditionally administratively dismissed."
