SOMERSET NJ - Somerset County Assemblymen Joe Danielsen and Andrew Zwicker will co-host a job fair on April 13 in Somerset.
The event will be held at The Imperia, 1714 Easton Avenue in Somerset from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Assemblymen Danielsen and Zwicker encourage members of the public to attend the free event and network with more than 70 recruiters for opportunities with public and private entities in Central New Jersey.
"Many of our residents who remain unemployed or underemployed know their skills and experience can be a real asset in the right workplace," said Danielsen (D-Somerset / Somerset). "New Jersey has a well-educated and well-traied population looking for opportunities to work and support their families here, and the representatives who will be at the job fair want to give them a fair chance."
"A job is about more than taking home a paycheck. We have highly knowledgeable and well-qualified men and women who want the opportunity to use their skills to make positive contributions to society," said Zwicker (D-Somerset / Hunterdon / Mercer / Middlesex). "This job fair will be a win-win for individuals looking for jobs and employers looking for talent."
Employers interested in participating may contact Dolores Alfieri via email at AsmDanielsen@njleg.org or by phone at (732) 247-3999.
