SOMERSET HILLS NJ - A host of Somerset Hills Republicans have endorsed Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli for governor.  The Republican municipal chairs and the mayors of each of the four towns covered by TAPinto Somerset Hills have endorsed Ciattarelli, according to a press release from the Ciattarelli campaign.

Today, the Ciattarelli campaign released a list of Republican leaders in six New Jersey counties who have endorsed his candidacy for Governor.

"New Jersey Republicans want an entirely new direction for our state and our party.  As a MBA/CPA, a successful entrpreneur and a Main Street business owner with a record of creating jobs, my campaign is about results, not rhetoric," said Ciattarelli.  "That positive and dynamic message is resonating loud and clear across the state, which is why our support continues to grow.  Today, I am proud to announce my first list of endorsements, including respected Republican leaders in Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Union, Warren and Mercer Counties."

The Republican chairs and mayors from the Somerset Hills were among the Republican leaders who have endorsed Ciattarelli for Governor.  The Somerset Hills leaders who have endorsed him are:

Bedminster - Mayor Steve Parker and GOP Chair Bob Holtaway

Bernardsville - Mayor Kevin Sooy and GOP Chair Skip Orza

Far Hills - Mayor Paul Vallone and GOP Chair Janis Vallone

Peapack-Gladstone - Mayor Bill Muller and GOP Chair Dean Lurker

Ciattarelli is facing Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno in the June 6, 2017 Republican primary.  The winner of the primary will face the winner of the Democratic Party primary in the general election on November 7.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Insurance fraud charges against Franklin Township Clerk Ann Marie McCarthy have been dropped, according to officials.
