Somerset Hills Residents Among those Honored for Service to YMCA

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Several Somerset Hills residents were recognized for their volunteer work with the Somerset County YMCA at the annual Spirit Awards and Annual Campaign Celebration at the Bridgewater Manor April 20.

The award recipients were nominated for their commitment, service, creativity, cooperation or leadership toward helping the YMCA fulfill its mission of strengthening community.

Roni and Steve Sawin, of Bridgewater, were honored for family; and Don Stires, of Bridgewater, was honored for lifetime achievement.

  • David Huber, of Basking Ridge
  • Dr. Stephen Hunt, of Basking Ridge
  • Don Moore, of Somerville

  • Allen Adroik, of Hillsborough
  • The Togetherhood Committee of Nancy Ferreira, of Basking Ridge; Dan McCauley, of Basking Ridge; Lisa Staehle, of Basking Ridge; and Lisa Wax, of Far Hills.
