Union County Dog Festival is Fun for Whole Family

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - New Jersey residents and their canine best friends are invited to converge at Mt. Carmel Field in Berkeley Heights on Sunday, Oct. 18 to enjoy contests, an obstacle course, food, vendors, and more at the county Dog Festival.

DogFest, founded in Westport, Connecticut, will also include demonstrations, exhibits, and water stations throughout.

There will also be dogs available for adoption.

While enjoying the activities, pet owners can learn about great animal related products, services, shops and charities.

The event will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 56 River Rd. in Berkeley Heights. The cost is $10 per person or $25 for a family of four. Tickets are available at the door starting at 8 a.m.

Attendees are encouraged to keep social distance and observe all coronavirus precautions.

The event is sponsored by Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz of Union and the Mt. Carmel Society of Berkeley Heights.
