BEDMINSTER, NJ -- The Clarence Dillon Public Library in Bedminster has scheduled two films this week to launch the summer season.

On Tuesday, June 25 at 6:45 p.m., the Sherlock Holmes film "The Hound of the Baskervilles" will screen as the library's Classic Movie of the Week. In the movie, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate the legend of a supernatural hound that may be stalking a young heir on the fog-shrouded moorland that makes up his estate.

On Friday, June 28, "Mary Queen of Scots" will be shown at 1:30 p.m. as the library's Movie Matinee of the Week. In this film, Mary Stuart's attempt to overthrow the Queen of England, her cousin Elizabeth I, results in her being condemned to years of imprisonment before facing execution.

Located at 2336 Lamington Road, the library is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays in the summer. For a list of kids programs, visit .
