BERNARDSVILLE, NJ - When shopping with The Pretty Pink Rooster in Bernardsville it is all about comfort. This women-owned neighborhood boutique is currently offering in-store and online shopping in an effort to press forward while easing the minds of their customers during such an unsettling time.

Operating a retail business during a global pandemic certainly has its highs and lows, but founder Alexandra Daras looks at the bright side.  “With our new normal, I am focusing on gratitude and staying in the now,” she said.  “Being present with my customers and activating my choice muscles to take this adversity and turn it into positive growth is the direction I'm taking.”

Daras opened the physical location of The Pretty Pink Rooster in September 2016 after she found success with her online only boutique.  “Our boutique is filled with a hand-curated selection of looks for whatever your day brings including a wide variety of clothing, jewelry, gifts and accessories.  Shopping with us is about the experience, not the expense,” explained Daras.

The brick and mortar location of The Pretty Pink Rooster, which was recently closed due to state mandated shutdowns amid the Coronavirus pandemic, has now been open for a little over a month. While customers are certainly welcome to come in and shop, Daras continues to offer plenty of options to those who may not be quite ready to step back inside her store.  “We have been offering same day local delivery if ordered before 4 p.m., and curbside pickup is available. Our clients can shop online and tap the option at checkout for their preferred pickup or delivery,” said Daras. “Customers can also book a complimentary styling session with us virtually or in person by calling us.”

While the retail world slowly rebounds, Daras knows not to get complacent. “We can all help each other by being socially responsible and wearing masks while shopping. We also ask our customers to not come into the store if they are not feeling well,” said Daras. “We are so grateful for all the love and support our community has shown The Pretty Pink Rooster during this time.”
