BERNARDSVILLE, NJ - Churches in and around the Somerset Hills are offering Easter week services online this week as New Jersey continues to be under stay at home orders because of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Below is a list of churches in and around Bernardsville holding online services beginning on Maundy Thursday, through Easter.

St. Bernard's Episcopal Church, 88 Claremont Road. For information call 908-766-0602 or visit the website. The home page will have details of and links to the Holy Week services. Maundy Thursday service will be at 7 p.m.; the Good Friday Liturgy will be celebrated at noon; on Easter Sunday, the Easter Morning service will be at 10 a.m.

The church will be closed for in-person worship until at least the end of April, at the direction of the bishop. Participate in Sunday Morning Prayer at 10 a.m. and Wednesday Evening Prayer at 5:45 p.m. via Zoom or by phone. Call 908-766-9058 for more information or visit the website.  St. Mark’s is streaming services seven days a week at 10 a.m. There are other groups meeting on Zoom and after Sunday Services, there is a “Coffee Hour” on Zoom. Check out details on the website. During Holy Week, there is a Morning Prayer at 10 a.m. each day. Join the Good Friday Service at 12:30 p.m.; on Saturday, join the 7:30 p.m. Vigil Service with the Bishop and on Easter Sunday, attend services at 10 a.m., followed by the Coffee Hour.
