WORCESTER, Mass. -- Robert Peralta of Bernardsville has been named to the Dean's List at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Peralta, who just completed his sophomore year at WPI, is majoring in mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering. He was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester.

A total of 1,598 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's spring 2019 Dean's List, which differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.

Peralta is a 2017 graduate of Bernards High School, where he was a board member of the National Honors' Society, the treasurer of the Latin Club and a member of the Harvard Model Congress.
