STIRLING, NJ - Santa and the Stirling Fire Company No. 1 made a special visit to The Goddard School of Long Hill last week. Santa Claus has been making visits to children throughout the township as an annual fund raiser for the Stirling Volunteer Fire Department.
Santa arrived on the fire truck and spent time with the students as they gathered around him and gave him hugs. Santa enjoyed cookies while the children jingled their bells to festive holiday music playing. Each student had the opportunity to sit on Santa's lap and tell him their holiday wish and get a photo with the big guy.
In the spirit of giving, The Goddard School of Long Hill also participated in the Junior Women's Club of Somerset Hills Wish Tree Program. This non-profit organization provides gifts for those who are not able to receive any without our help. Due to the generous support of The Goddard School families and staff, the school had to replenish the tree with more wishes to grant.
