BERNARDSVILLE, NJ -- Two seats on the Bernardsville Borough Council are up for vote on Election Day Tuesday.

Republicans Chad McQueen and Jena McCredie and Democrats Kerry Haselton and Peter Birnbaum are on the ballot for the two seats.

In Bernardsville, the Borough Council consists of six members. Each of them are elected to serve three-year terms, with two seats coming up for election each year in a staggered three-year cycle.

Republicans Diane Greenfield and Chris Schmidt are the council members whose terms are up at the end of 2019. Neither is on Tuesday's ballot. Greenfield was selected last December to fill the remainder of the unexpired term of office that had been held by Michael C. Sullivan until he resigned from office late last year. Schmidt has served two terms on the council.
