BEDMINSTER, NJ — Brittany Wheeler will serve on the Executive Board of the Somerset County Republican Organization beginning on Thursday, July 23.
A Bedminster resident, Wheeler will be the secretary of the board. Wheeler is running on the “Unity 2020” ticket, which is unopposed.
“Brittany is one of the best political minds in the New Jersey Republican Party today,” said incoming Somerset GOP Chairman Tim Howes. “Her knowledge of political strategy and tactics, and her strong reputation in the GOP will give our team a major advantage.”
Wheeler is a lifelong Somerset County resident. She graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan High School before earning a Bachelor's in Economics from Rowan University. She lives in the Hills section of Bedminster. She is employed as political director for the Ciattarelli for Governor campaign.
“Somerset County is one of the most desirable places to live in the nation” said Wheeler. “It’s no accident, either. Somerset County Republicans led the way. I look forward to electing the next generation of Republican leaders.”
Wheeler has served as Chief of Staff for Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips, and as an aide to Assemblyman Erik Petersen. She has managed successful countywide campaigns in Morris and Somerset County.
Wheeler will join incoming Chairman Tim Howes, former Somerset County Freeholder Pat Walsh (1st Vice Chair), Franklin Technology Expert Ravi Kolla (2nd Vice Chair), Bridgewater Investor Jeff Foose (Finance Chair) and Hillsborough CPA Bob Damiano (Treasurer) on the Somerset County Republican Executive Committee.
