BERNARDSVILLE, NJ -- Jena McCredie and Chad McQueen, two newly elected members of the Bernardsville Borough Council, both took their oaths of office at the 2020 Reorganization Meeting Thursday night.

McCredie and McQueen, both Republicans, are taking the place on the council of Diane Greenfield and Chris Schmidt, two Republicans who decided not to seek another term when theirs were up at the end of 2019.

McCredie told TAPinto Somerset Hills after the election, that her goal is "to make Bernardsville a better place to live for all residents, increase our property values, bring businesses here and focus our tax dollars in this direction."

"Our first step is to unify a vision for Bernardsville’s future," McQueen said. "Plans are already in development to make Bernardsville a better place to live and raise your family."
