BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Ron DePasquale, Basking Ridge resident, is on the quest to buy more lunches for area essential workers, after raising enough money to buy all the employees at Memorial Sloan Kettering Basking Ridge lunch on April 14th.

“I initially set a goal of $500 to buy some staff members lunch, to show them that their community is thankful for what they do. I also wanted to support our local restaurants. In four days, we raised over $1,930,” said DePasquale. “We were able to buy lunch, cookies and dessert for the whole building because they were running light on staff.”

Memorial Sloan Kettering Basking Ridge is strictly a cancer center focused on consultations, screening, treatment, imaging and support services. DePasquale said, “It's not a regular hospital, but they still have to show up and treat patients. And they are doing testing for Coronavirus in their parking lot for their patients and still treating people that might be sick.”
