DUNELLEN, NJ -- The Bernards ice hockey team turned in its best performance so far this season with a 3-3 tie against Watchung Hills on Tuesday.

Nick Emmons scored all three goals for Bernards. He scored twice in the first period, which ended with the Mountaineers ahead, 2-0.

Watchung Hills scored twice in the second period before Emmons scored again in the third period. Paul Wendling and Chris Derogatis assisted on two of Emmons' goals. Nick von Kaufmann made 32 saves in goal for the Mountaineers.
