BSA Troop 83 Hosts Fish & Chips Dinner in Somerville March 9


SOMERVILLE, NJ – Boy Scout Troop 83 will host its III Annual Fish Fry on Friday, March 9 at United Reformed Church, 100 Main St.

A traditional Lenten season dish, the fish & chips will also be served with, coleslaw, a beverage and dessert.

Dinner will be served 5-7 p.m. Take out is also available.

Tickets are $15, $14 for seniors, and $10 for children 9 and under. Tickets must be purchased in advance from any member of Troop 83, via email at or by phone at 908 707-9597.

First Reformed Church has sponsored the troop since it was founded in 1938.

Money raised will be used to buy new equipment for the troop and recurring operating costs, including rank advancement, merit bade patches, and awards.

Troop 83 meets weekly on Monday from 7:30-9 p.m. at the church. New members are welcome.
